An eerie impression keeps lingering that could be an alert for very large ministries that seem to be standing strong and tall this hour.

THE ENEMY'S PLAN--GIGANTIC MINISTRIES

I sense that what the enemy has targeted in the natural -two of the world's largest buildings that seemed impossible to bring down--- that mocked America - that in this coming year 2002 the target will be to topple two very large ministries to mock and intimidate the Body of Christ at large.

The enemy's plan again is to cause these gigantic ministries or leaders to fall in order to get as many believers and unbelievers as possible to become disillusioned and lose their faith and trust in seemingly trustworthy ministries that have had strong foundations of integrity for long periods of time and have become world renown.

His plan is to destroy the spiritual lives of many faithful believers who believe so strongly in these ministries and would be shocked by these "Two Large Spiritual Towers" falling.

FIRST THE NATURAL - THEN THE SPIRITUAL

What this year brought to this natural nation, I sense this coming year 2002 will be an attack against the Spiritual Body of Christ in this nation and World Wide. Even as the Pentagon was attacked to put a breach in our natural security, the enemy plans to launch an attack to put a breach in our spiritual security by attacking large seemingly secure ministries that many are trusting in.

This attack on America I believe was allowed by the Lord to waken us as a "Spiritual Giant." And many of us and many ministries are doing just that.

TOWARDS MINISTRIES STILL SLEEPING

But now the attack will be towards the ministries that are still sleeping in their largeness and their own security "apparently" being blessed by God and are not feeling the shaking of God to wake up!

They are sleeping standing up on their own "TWO" feet and not humbling themselves at the feet of Jesus who is our only hope who is able to make us stand in this evil day. Small seemingly weak ministries that are struggling with all their might to hold on to the feet of Jesus will surprisingly grow rapidly this coming year. "Let the weak say, I am strong."

Only as we humble ourselves at His feet will He make our enemies our footstool.

EXHORTATION: "IS IT I, LORD?"- By Steve Shultz

Steve Shultz:

I would like to exhort the readers of the above word to not spend even a moment in trying, in your mind to "guess" which ministries the Lord might be seeing as "asleep." Chances are better than not that you would be wrong anyway.

Instead, It would be better to look at ourselves, in the mirror, individually-- and to examine our own ministries and say, "Lord, is it I?"

That would be an example of humbling ourselves. An interesting point-- What did the disciples do when Jesus said ONE of them would betray Him?

". . . And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it I? (Mark 14:19)

Each disciple asked "Is it me, Lord?"

It turns out that ONLY ONE was truly a "Judas". The others were worried, perhaps because they knew their own hearts to some extent-- that it really MIGHT be them.

So they asked the Lord, one by one, "Lord, is it I?"

For 11 of them, it wasn't. Better to ask the question of yourself.

Question by Steve Shultz of THE ELIJAH LIST: Bill, do you feel this is something that can be prayed through-- regarding the "TWO LARGE SPIRITUAL TOWERS TARGETED FOR 2002"

Bill Yount: Yes - this is something that can be prevented by prayer. I believe it would be important for intercessors of any large ministry to be alerted to cover the leadership of these ministries in prayer and even keep clear communication with the leaders that God has called them to support in prayer. The key is to walk very softly and humble before the Lord. The enemy will try to wear down these leaders by convincing them that they must do more and become busier in ministry thereby neglecting time alone with the Lord.

Delegating authority will be very important for this coming year. These leaders must have their seasons and times to wait in His presence for adjustments and clearer direction from the Lord. God may need to "turn the rudder of some big ships" (ministries) this coming year to out-maneuver the tactics of the enemy.

Steve Shultz: What is the remedy?

Bill Yount: FASTING AND PRAYER will be very essential for these large ministries to stay focused and humble and hear the still small voice of guidance. I sense these leaders' families also must be covered with a fresh shield of prayer protection.

Steve Shultz: If the enemy if targeting these ministries, can we outwit the enemy?

Bill Yount: Yes - having done all - these large ministries can stand and go forward in this evil day and believe that NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST THEM SHALL PROSPER. One more thought. I sense with all the distractions from the enemy against God's people that there may be a neglect on our part to uphold the larger ministries in prayer. The enemy will tell many of us, "That big ministry doesn't really need you or your "little old prayer!"
