CALLING THE BODY OF CHRIST TO FAST AND PRAY ON AND FOR NOVEMBER 11

In four and a half years of publishing THE ELIJAH LIST, I don't believe I've ever personally called for a fast. I'm calling to as many as are willing and able (no guilt trips here) to fast on November 11.

I will be fasting on that day.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF FASTING. NO LAWS. YOU CHOOSE

For those who participate, choose your fast.

*Some will drink only juice

*Some will eat only bland food

*Others will eat no food at all

*You may even choose to fast according to Isaiah 58:

TO LOOSE THE CHAINS OF INJUSTICE--NOW THAT'S A FAST!

Isa 58:3-6

"'Why have we fasted,' they say, 'and you have not seen it? Why have we humbled ourselves, and you have not noticed?' "Yet on the day of your fasting, you do as you please and exploit all your workers. Your fasting ends in quarreling and strife, and in striking each other with wicked fists. You cannot fast as you do today and expect your voice to be heard on high.

Is this the kind of fast I have chosen, only a day for a man to humble himself? Is it only for bowing one's head like a reed and for lying on sackcloth and ashes? Is that what you call a fast, a day acceptable to the LORD?

"Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: TO LOOSE THE CHAINS OF INJUSTICE and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?"

WHY NOVEMBER 11? AT LEAST FOUR MAJOR REASONS

=============================================

The top reasons for fasting on November 11 are these:

* Because a number of prophets and "just folks" have gotten that date as an important date for the church to pray

* Because it is VETERANS DAY, --and we should honor their sacrifice and pray against Bin Laden's using this day to humiliate the military or America. Pray for Britain and the whole U.K. They observe November 11 also!! We are united in this Holiday.

* Because while the Pilgrims in many ways failed in obedience to God, On November 11, 1620, our forefathers landed in the harbor of Provincetown, MA and committed the land and its government to God’s glory and the advancement of the Christian faith. "President Bush will be giving his message [to the United Nations] on Saturday, (November 10) and he has stated he will be asking for a “major commitment� on the battle over terrorism. Earlier this week, the President reiterated his theme that “you are either with us or against us� in the battle against the forces of terror. Arafat is scheduled to speak to the U.N. General Assembly on Sunday, November 11. Some Christians have been sensing for the last two months that something serious could happen on that day and have been praying accordingly (it is also referred in new age and occult circles as 11-11). There is a documented history of major catastrophic events occurring at the same time that Arafat comes to the United States and speaks out against God’s covenant land. WHAT WE ARE ASKING GOD TO DO WITH OUR FASTINGS AND PRAYERS

*Pray that on November 11, millions in Church and in God's Church (whether attending or not) will be visited on that day.

*Protection for the entire U.S. and the U.K, or any other nation that would be a terrorist target on that day

*Do not allow the enemy--ANY enemy to take opportunity in Veterans Day. Give double honor and favor to our military on that day.

*Restore America according to the original intentions of the Pilgrims who landed on November 11. Show us how to repent for wrongs done to the Host/Indigenous Peoples, and all other evil covenants we made with the enemy, including sins related to Freemasonry.

*Protect the lives of President Bush, his family, and the families of all who are in the Senate and Congress

*Protect the celebrities of this nation, as the enemy is gunning for many of them to demoralize this nation

*Uncover what is hidden, whether operatives of Bin Laden or operatives of lawless U.S. Terrorists

*Protect especially all our state capitals

*Bless Israel and all its people and all its leaders. Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem.

*Ask God to show Himself faithful to His covenants to both Isaac and Ishmael. He loves both peoples. Ask Him to reveal Himself to the descendants of Abraham--- Isaac and Ishmael.

I ask, Lord, for special blessings for all who do ANY TYPE of fasting or prayer on and for November 11! Even if that fasting is loosing the chains of injustice" for someone, somewhere on that day. [for some, your fast will be to call and LOOSE a family member from your condemnation, whether they are guilty or not.]
