Instructions for God's Abundance
The Lord said to me, "The illusion of shortage, lack, and the limitations put on My people, who have been influenced by a poverty spirit, is being exposed. I want liberation and freedom for My people. I am the source of life and life more abundant.
The Heart Posture of Sowing and Reaping
"Yes, what a man sows he also shall reap."
"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life." (Galatians 6:7–8 NKJV)
"But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully." (2 Corinthians 9:6 NKJV)
"Sowing and reaping has been reduced to mere religious rhetoric. It actually is more about the heart posture than anything else. A loving heart will always want to bless. I am a rewarder of those who diligently seek Me."
"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV)
"I look for effort from the right heart motive and always reward it. There are principles, like the laws of gravity, already in place. Resist the formulas or methods; it's more about what motivates the heart: I love, so I give. I help because I am your help. I bless, because I am the giver of blessing. I increase, because My Kingdom is at hand, and My hand multiplies. (Photo via Unsplash)
"The wicked servant is afraid to give. He hides what I entrust in fear of loss, and loses. Investing with Me, the One who knows everything, brings a return. The more a person stays diligent, working from rest and the power of joy, the more increase will come. Being a light in the darkness and staying salty—causing thirst—fulfills your divine design and is also a secret to My abundance.
"Encourage and stay encouraged. Motivate and stay motivated. Fill and be filled. Live, learn, love, and agree with the Dove [the Holy Spirit]. My Spirit desires to empower the willing, but most are not willing. When I see open wings, I send the wind. When I see a willing heart, I fill it.
"Progress is not accidental. So many lack motivation; they only work when someone is watching. Consider all the distractions and time wasters. It's time to get focused. It's time to rise and not shrink. It's time to show active pursuit of Me, the Lord your God, for there is nothing I wouldn't do for you, beloved.
Surrender Is Always Better
"Why does it often take crises for My people to turn to Me? Self-reliance is rebellion. I desire total dependence. It's hard for the wealthy to rely on My strength and power. One of the secrets to true and lasting joy is continual surrender to Me. In war, surrender is defeat. In My Kingdom, surrender to My will is the ultimate victory.
"Surrender to what is right. Position your heart with a yes to truth's instruction. You will always be blessed doing things My way. Most don't believe that. The reason many toil and labor in vain is they truly don't believe I have a better plan than they do.
Holy Spirit Is Pointing You to Victory
"Make decisions based on the leading of My Holy Spirit, as I have given to each one a built-in compass. Truth is pointing to true north. You must assess often to find out where you truly are on the map of My will.
"Next, find out where you are meant to be heading by following My instructions. Stay the course by staying close to Me, the one who knows exactly 100 percent how to lead you in victory, because I am the Victory. I am Provision. I am the Deliverer. I am the Source of Wisdom. I am the Breakthrough. I am the Life. I am your Safety. I am your Helper, Counselor, and Comforter. Peace comes when you spend time like this with Me, the Prince of Peace."
