An Open Vision While Preaching: The Day of the Lion and the Eagle
In the spirit, I see an open vision before me at this very moment, and the vision is of the United States of America. And I see it from a high and lofty place, looking down. I see a convocation of eagles circling in the air, and I see a pride of lions that are running to and fro over the face of the United States of America.
(The eagles and lions are both fighting/hunting demonic spirits according to their own strengths. The eagles have the ability to see and hear in the Spirit. The lions can smell evil and attack it with the strength and authority in their massive jaws.)
And I hear the Lord speak these words: "This is the day for the lion and the eagle. For the lion—the warriors of the Lion of the tribe of Judah—shall go forth with fierceness. They are going forth and upholding the strong arm of the Lord. They are the army of the Lord, made up of Believers who shall accomplish great exploits for their Master. They are the ones who shall cause the enemy to be shredded and torn apart.
"But this is also the day of the eagle, and the eagles are those warriors who have a prophetic insight and have been raised up on high. These are not just ground warriors, but they contain those who see in the spirit. They see in all directions. They see what the enemy is doing. They have the insight of Heaven itself, and are able to go against the strategies of the enemy and begin to tear them down.
"For who shall stand against the Most High?"
And the devil says, "I will."
But the Lord says, "Then you'll answer to My lion, and you'll answer to My eagle. For they have been filled with My Spirit. They have been given the rainbow glory from on high in order to carry out the will and the commands of the Lion of the tribe of Judah. And they will accomplish great things. Confronting a New Darkness
"For there is a darkness that has come into the land over the last couple of generations. Currently the darkness has morphed into something new.
"There are those who would say that the darkness in years past is because of atheism. There are those who would say it's because of communism. But I say that it has morphed into a new threat, and the new threat has not been seen on the face of the earth before. It is the merging of major spirits that have come together to form a new darkness. It is new time-wise, but not necessarily new spiritually and quality-wise. For the enemy has had these plans for a long time. And the prophet that is speaking now has seen those plans. For I took him into the spiritual realm, to the depths of the dark place, and I showed him what was coming. I showed him in a way that made him shudder. But I also showed him in a way that would bring revelation.
"And then I took him into the highest of the heavens. And I showed him from Heaven itself what the answer is for the Church. I showed him how the lion and how the eagle are to be filled with the spirit from on high, and have Heaven's perspective on how to vanquish the darkness.
Supernatural Protection and Empowerment
"So be encouraged, be faith-filled. In fact, be excited to a degree. For I will use the lion and the eagle this year to bring about My will upon the earth. And you shall be a part of it. For I have taken those who have committed themselves into the lion's army and the prophetic eagles of the army. I've placed My hand around them. It is a supernatural protection, but it also provides supernatural empowerment.
"So rise, go forth, for the victory is at hand, and I the Lord will fight through My army."
