Recently, I heard the Lord say, "I am assigning angels to your time." And I believe this is a message for all of us right now.
Divine Acceleration – It's Still Your Time!
As 2024 unfolds, the Lord wants you to know that with Him in charge, there is enough time. There is always sufficient time for God to complete His plans. Even if time is compromised (on our part), stolen by others, or lost due to circumstances beyond our control, He is the Redeemer of time. This is what divine acceleration is about.
Divine acceleration is a principle where God makes up for lost time and accelerates His harvest, resulting in overflow. So, there is no shortfall of time in the Kingdom of God! He says, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten..." (Joel 2:25).
David wrote, "My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me" (Psalm 31:15).
David was confident that even in the onslaught of warfare, the enemy could not take him out. While God said, "It's still your time."
Flashback
A couple of months ago, I had a flashback; I was suddenly conscious of being in a certain time and place in 2016!
(In my experience, a flashback, as distinct from a memory, is sudden and inadvertent. And a flashback prompted by the Holy Spirit seems to have the following attributes: It is "loud" in the spiritual realm. It is vivid in its recollection of details. It comes with a sign and a message, often symbolic, and conveys the loving heart of the Father.)
My husband Malcolm and I were walking up Collins Street towards the Rolex watch shop on the right-hand side; we were maybe 100 meters from the store.

That was it—a simple memory of a spot on the roadside.
It's always amazing when the Lord shows me a significant moment, and I can put my hands on something from that time and place. Something physical that directly connects with that event.
I recalled that (even though we were not customers) the manager was friendly and gave us a Rolex magazine. So, I went looking for it, and sure enough, we still had it! We had two copies of the same edition because, oddly, someone else had given Malcolm the same one later. A double portion!
We used that moment of divine encounter to discern the meaning. Then, we held the magazines in our hands and prayed.
"I Am Assigning Angels to Your Time"
Months passed by, and I wrote it in my journal and forgot about it... until a couple of weeks ago, when we were in Melbourne City. We were nearby, and I had an urge to visit that spot on Collins Street because I remembered God's presence being there. But in a rush to return home, we went in the opposite direction, and I didn't think any more about it. That night, as I was going to sleep, I had a series of dreamlike impressions, and it returned. I woke up, and in a moment, I saw it—like that Rolex shop, just out of reach; I realized I was aware of time being valuable and the shortage of it as it slipped away on multiple fronts. I said, "Holy Spirit, are You showing me that I am anxious about time?"
Perhaps you can identify with this. Here are some questions or symptoms to consider:
• Can you relate to "So much to do, so little time?"
• Do you concern yourself with making the most of the time you have left?
• Are you anxious about time or aware that it is slipping away?
• Perhaps you have family members who will not be on Earth much longer and it troubles you.
• You have thoughts about working out your life's purpose as though it's a problem to solve, or concerns about delays in projects and a shortage of time.
When I asked, "Holy Spirit, are You showing me that I am anxious about time?" The Father spoke back to me straight away, and I believe He is saying this to you, right here and now:
"I am assigning angels to your time. Ask Me!"
The Kingdom Time Zone
I believe that understanding Kingdom time is a key to faith, and it simply comes from having a revelation of God's eternal nature. For God, "who was, and is, and is to come," inhabits past, present and future all at once (see Revelation 1:8; Isaiah 57:15). God dwells in Kingdom time. We could refer to it as "the time zone of Heaven." And He is a master of synchronization. He can perform an infinite number of actions in a nanosecond. (Photo via Unsplash)
When we pray in the Spirit, we pray directly into this realm!
And, yes, the psalmist says, "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom" (Psalm 90:12). This honors God, but it may overburden us, or we can become anxious about time.
Hear God say, "You are My son, you are My daughter. I am moving on your behalf and working all things together. I am operating in the eternal time frame, finishing My work."
Rich with the Time You Have
God doesn't want us to live as "time zone orphans," having a scarcity mindset concerning time. We can live in peace, knowing we are rich with what we have left. We are not "time poor," seeing time as sand running through the hourglass. Instead, see by faith a vast, broad beach—one that goes on and on without end... sand as far as the eye can see. He wants you to relax in it, to run and play with Him on that sand, and with your friends and family. He wants you to do cartwheels (metaphorically speaking!) and to know you have time enough.
As the stars of Heaven, you are Abraham and Sarah in your calling. This is your inheritance.
