In this season, I believe that inheritances are being restored to those who feel they have lost or were never given earthly inheritances. There is grace right now to lay worry and partnerships with fear at the feet of Jesus, choosing instead to take up faith and trust in His promises.

Watch for an increase in nighttime dreams this month, for I believe that God is releasing revelation and encounters even to those of you who have not dreamed in a long time. Also, watch for unique opportunities to grow in understanding and compassion toward the people God has placed in your life. I believe that humility and vulnerability will strengthen your connection with others as you go low and seek to understand.

You Are My Inheritance

"O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; yes, I have a good inheritance." (Psalm 16:5-6 NKJV)

There are some people that have wrongly had their inheritance taken from them. A portion of them had it stolen, and for others, it was not stewarded well and therefore never reached them. These people feel the injustice hanging over them, and they've been waiting for God to vindicate this violation. If this is you, God wants you to know that He is your inheritance.

Your inheritance is an intentional plan for God to take care of you. On this earth, this often involves stewardship, faithfulness, thoughtfulness, and planning on the part of living individuals, with the goal that they would have something to pass on. I believe, right now, God wants to reassure those of you who have lost earthly inheritances to swindling, mis-allocation, and outright deceit, that you do not have to go without.

If you have had an inheritance wrongly taken from you, He is stepping in and He's filling in that gap. Although our earthly ideas of receiving an inheritance often involve receiving a lump sum of money or earthly possessions, what an inheritance really means is that we're taken care of by our family. It might not look like you get a huge lump sum of money (although it could), but perhaps you will find instead that He provides for you in ways that only He can.

Some will experience Him lining up portions of their destinies that will bring income they never could have imagined. Some will supernaturally have their needs met; they may find that the deep desires of their hearts, that they've only shared with their heavenly Father, are met by a stranger or a friend.

Watch for miracles, signs, and surprises that prove that God is your inheritance. Even if you don't feel cared for by your family, God wants you to know that He is stepping in and caring for you, and that He's given careful thought and consideration to your future, because you are His beloved child.

Fear vs. Faith

"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?" (Matthew 6:25 NKJV)

Every day we are given a choice to partner with who God has told us He is and the promises He makes to us throughout Scripture, OR we can choose to worry. The Bible tells us not to worry a number of times. Worry is not of the Kingdom, so when we choose to worry, we are choosing to partner with the wrong kingdom. Bill Johnson says that "fear is misplaced worship."

Worry brings about bad fruit; it becomes the thief of our joy, time, peace, sleep, and health. If we believe God's promises and His Word, which say that He will care for us, then we have no right to partner with worry or fear. It is a choice to stand in faith and believe God, and the fruit of that choice is good.

Can't You Talk Louder, God?

There is a sweet invitation, right now, drawing us back to the truth of what God has said to us about our situation and also what His Word promises to us. We are able to plainly see the fruit of worry and fear and we get to choose to stand in faith instead, reaping the benefits of faith. There is grace for us to see the worry that we've been partnering with, and there is grace to lay worry at His feet. He's standing, ready to pick up our burdens, ever-faithful to fulfill His word to us. Trust His promises to you, standing in faith this month. All of His promises to you are yes and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20).

To Dream Again

"I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me." (Psalm 16:7)

Watch for an increase in nighttime dreams. If you are someone who has dreamt in the past, but hasn't for some time, prepare your mind and body to start dreaming again! Some people have been in a kind of dormant season, and their dream life is being energized again. It's time for God to wake some of these dreamers back up. The dreams that God is releasing are powerful, significant, and deeply meaningful. It is a season in which God is speaking to those with their eyes and ears open.

If you are a dreamer, I believe that you can impart that gift easily and swiftly to those who want to receive it. Be intentional about praying for those you know who are not dreamers but would like to be. Watch as this creates a powerful domino effect and increases the dreams of many people around you!

Expect God to speak through dreams again and release heavenly dreams to people that have had negative dreams in the past. It is a time of redemption for past seasons of nightmares or demonic visitations. Those of you who desire to dream but haven't (or can't remember your dreams), have faith for God to meet you in the night season. God loves to speak through dreams to His children!

Understanding Leads to Compassion

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32 NIV)

Recently I was reading a book about World War 2 and children who grew up during the war. For the first time, I realized that my dad (now in Heaven) was the same age as the kids I was reading about in the book. He was six years old when the war started and it ended when he was twelve. On top of that, he lost his dad during that time, as well, in a tragic accident.

Putting all of this in perspective in the context of the war, and reading about how little boys handled life during the midst of a war, filled me with such understanding and compassion for my dad and his childhood. This is not something I ever remember him talking to me about while he was alive. Once I had this perspective, I could understand more of why he did certain things and thought in certain ways.

God is releasing opportunities for us to learn about those we love in order to bring understanding, and ultimately, compassion. We must humble ourselves, tapping into our own vulnerability, in order to appreciate what others have been through. When we go low, God will allow us to see and understand more.

Taking this step toward another person will strengthen our relationship and our connection. In addition to understanding those that are alive with us, God is also granting understanding for those in our lives that have already passed away.

Declarations:

• God is my inheritance.
• I choose to stand in faith (not fear).
• God speaks to me in my dreams!
• My understanding leads to compassion.
• All of God's promises to me are yes and amen.

Texas born, Anne Ballard worked as a nurse for seventeen years before fully embracing her creative nature. Having grown up believing that God only spoke through the Bible, her life was transformed with the personal knowledge that He still speaks today. As she experienced a revelation of God's love for her and the power of words to transform and heal, she began designing jewelry, partnering with Holy Spirit to create a tangible way to bring Heaven to Earth. This is where her prophetic jewelry company, The Crowning Jewels, was birthed. Many people recognize her company as a business-ministry hybrid. She currently resides in Redding, CA.
