We are in a season of divine transition. As we begin to transition to the next decade in the natural, there is a transition taking place in the spirit. We're being transitioned to a season of fulfillment of prophetic promises.
Fulfillment: The achievement of something desired, promised, or predicted.
satisfaction or happiness as a result of fully developing one's abilities or character.
We are stepping into a time of massive fulfillment of the promises and prophetic words that the Lord has released over us individually and corporately. God is stirring up our faith and partnering with us to bring His intended promises to fulfillment.
I sense we are at the door of transition to step into that season. To have what we've never had before we have to become who we've never been. The transition is not just about our surroundings and situations, it's about us. God's transitioning us from who we've been to who He's calling us to become. We're going from waiting on the promises of God to walking in them.
There are three phases of this process of transition that you may find yourself in—the unknown, death, and replanting.
1. The Unknown
"The Lord had said to Abram, 'Go from your country, your people and your father's household to the land I will show you.'" (Genesis 12:1 NIV)
In Abram's transition process God called him to leave everything that had been familiar to him. He had to leave the culture and customs that he had known for the unknown.
The process of the unknown can cause a lot of frustration because so many elements seem unsettled and uncertain. I want to encourage you with this: you will have everything you need to make it through this transition time. There's a supernatural grace.
2. Death
The second phase of this transition is the death process. In this process, there is a death to what you've always had and always known. It feels like you're losing something precious because you're giving up what's been familiar. There is a grieving that takes place in the letting go of the old that you're leaving behind. What's ahead is greater than what is behind you.
The key to navigating this place is childlike faith; trusting God as He leads us forward through the transition. Let your faith be rooted in Jeremiah 29:11:
"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"
He has a plan to take you through to hope and a future. The Lord has your best in mind in this transition time.
3. Replanting
The third phase of the transition is replanting and rebuilding. This is like uprooting a plant that has outgrown its current pot. For the plant to become all it can be, you must replant it into a bigger pot, which gives it more potential and capacity. Its root can go deeper and the plant can grow bigger, stronger, and more fruitful. God wants us to plant our roots deeper in Him during this time of transition.
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me, you can do nothing." (John 15:5)
The purpose of the transition process is to help us to grow and be more fruitful so that we can rightly handle and possess the promise that is coming forth.
We're stepping into our greatest season of fulfilled prophetic promises!
