In the early morning hours of February 12th, I had an encounter with the Holy Spirit unlike anything I have ever personally experienced before. As I have sat with the Lord regarding the meaning of this encounter, He has graciously revealed the interpretation in its entirety. The revelation is a personal word of encouragement to me, but I feel that it is also for others in the Body of Christ. Therefore I feel led to pen my experience in order to speak a word in due season to others of you who have been discouraged in the pace of your life race.
First, allow me to share the prophetic dream and encounter and then I will share the interpretation God has given me.
The Dream
I dreamed I was living in a two-story house with another neighbor's house very close to mine. One morning, I walked outside on my balcony and noticed my neighbor lying dead at the bottom of her pool in a royal blue dress. I was shocked. Yet, I simply walked back inside my house and accepted that she was in fact dead!
The next morning in my dream, I took a long walk with my friend, Anna. (In real life, I do not have a personal friend named Anna, but you will see in the interpretation that even the name "Anna" is an important detail). Anna and I were walking on a road right in front of mine and the neighbor's houses. I asked Anna if she would please do me a favor. She said, "Sure." I said, "Yesterday I saw my neighbor dead at the bottom of her pool. She was wearing a royal blue dress. You will find her in the front left corner of the pool. Will you please go see if she's really there?" But, as Anna headed toward the neighbor's house to look, that same neighbor came charging out of her house and down the driveway for an early morning run! She was focused on setting her Apple watch. In my surprise, I declared, "Well, she can't be dead because there she is – running!" (Photo via Unsplash)
In the next scene, this same neighbor said to me, "Watch this! God gives me downloads straight from Heaven. My favorite downloads come from the book of Hebrews!" I watched as God miraculously and powerfully downloaded fresh revelation into my neighbor's spirit. It was like watching an old Wonder Woman episode! The download was zipping and zapping like flashes of lightning, with brand new apps popping up on her Apple watch! –End of Dream.
Then, my dream turned into a real-life encounter with Holy Spirit!
A strong wind began to blow upon my face. The wind was so strong, it was as if I was hanging outside of the car window while traveling down the interstate. I was saying, "Holy Spirit! Holy Spirit!" I could literally feel the strong wind, as well as His presence coming over my entire being.
I woke up and laid there stunned and still, trying to process what really just happened. I was in awe! I glanced at my phone. It was 5:14. I immediately read Hebrews 5:14 which says, "But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil."
As I was meditating upon this dream/encounter, I received an email with an article by a well-known, highly respected prophet. The article was a prophetic word exclaiming that we are in a season where God is blowing a second wind upon many of His children. The definition of a "second wind" is this: "a phenomenon in distance running ... whereby an athlete who is out of breath and too tired to continue suddenly finds the strength to press onward at TOP PERFORMANCE WITH VERY LITTLE EXERTION" (emphasis mine)! Suddenly everything about this encounter was revealed.
It's Time for the Second Wind
Many of you are in a season of slowed momentum. You are battle weary from the race and not really sure if you are able to run the last mile of your marathon.
In my understanding of the prophetic dream language, to dream about your neighbor parallels what is also happening in your own spiritual life. For me, seeing my neighbor dressed in royal blue, dead at the bottom of the pool symbolizes the heavenly promises I assume are now dead and lost. The wait and faith for the manifestation of these promises have left me tired and weary. Yet, these royal promises from God are more alive than ever. They are so alive that they will now begin to take off and RUN! (Photo via Pixabay)
The Kairos timing of God has met with the Chronos timing and has forged "the set time." We have entered a new spiritual era. God is pouring out fresh revelation and hidden mysteries upon His mature children. We can expect to receive fresh downloads and a deeper gift of discernment from Heaven. Things you once did not understand, you will now understand completely. Holy Spirit is blowing a second wind upon you!
You are now entering a season where you will run at TOP performance with very little exertion. His "gracious favor" (the meaning of the name "Anna") is walking along side you. This grace upon your life will cause you to accomplish every single promise He has whispered into your ear.
It is time to get excited! You are entering the most powerful phase of your race. Get happy because you will now step into fresh alignment, energy, influence and position. Are you ready to RUN. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)
